Proposed automation

The gate code changes every day. Nobody should have to send it.

You already text arriving guests the code by hand. This is the same job, done by the site: six moments across one booking, guest side and your side, end to end.

Proposed, not on your site today

Everything on this page is a simulation running in your browser. No message is sent, no number is stored, and the codes shown are made up. It is here so you can see exactly what we are proposing before deciding whether you want it.

What you do

Today, by hand

Checks the booking, adds the guest to a list, remembers to text them nearer the time.

With this in place

Nothing. The booking arrives and the schedule builds itself.

The mechanism

A different code every day, and nobody chooses it

The code for any given day is derived from that date. It is the same every time it is asked for, so your gate and your texts never disagree, and it cannot be guessed from yesterday's. Pick a date and see.

A guest arriving on the 14th gets the 14th's code and nothing else. If they arrive a day late, their old code is already dead.

Code that day

----

You keep the override

Set a code by hand for any date and the schedule uses yours instead. Automation that cannot be overruled is worse than no automation.

Sent at 7am, not on arrival

Early enough that they read it over breakfast, before they are driving and long before signal drops at Newhouse Lane.

Paired with the offline card

The text carries the code and a link to the arrival guide. Open it once and it stays on the phone through the mile of nothing.

Direct booking, firewood pre-orders and the guest hub all hang off the same schedule.
