Nothing says 'wild camping' like a cosy fire under the stars. Bring your own raised fire pit and fire wood, or simply order before 4pm on the day of your arrival, and we will deliver all your campfire essentials to your pitch.
The fire rules
They are short, and every one of them exists because of something that has happened on a camping field somewhere.
- No campfires on the ground. Only in raised fire pits. Bring your own, or simply hire one from us.
- Please do not burn old fence panels or any wood with nails or screws.
- All fire ash from fire pits to be disposed of in the oil drums around the field. Not onto the ground or into the woods.
- Ash is re-used at our farm so please no rubbish or disposable BBQs to be placed in the oil drums.
- We prefer no single use, disposable BBQs.

Bring your own raised fire pit and firewood, or order before 4pm on the day of your arrival and we will deliver all your campfire essentials to your pitch. Every Landpod comes with its own fire pit already.

Where the ash goes
Into the oil drums around the field, never onto the ground and never into the woods. The ash is re-used on the farm, which is why rubbish and disposable BBQs cannot go in with it.
Never burn
Old fence panels, or any wood with nails or screws in it. It spits, it ruins the pit, and it leaves metal in ash that is going back onto a working farm.
Bring the marshmallows
Fire pits with griddles, and a stand for a stove kettle or saucepan.
